On the Wyse T10, if I have it set to DHCP, it will boot in about 5 seconds or so. Once I set the ip address to static, it hangs at Contacting File Server for around 2 min. before booting into the ThinOS. Is there some way to get rid of that 2 min lag time with a static ip where it says it’s trying to contact the file server? There’s no entries in the file servers/path field in Central Configuration. We’re not using WDM or anything, not using an FTP server currently to push out any updates or anything. Or is that the actual issue? I need to put an FTP server out there for it to contact so knows that there’s nothing new for it? Thanks for any information.
Which firmware version are you using?
CG
System Version is 7.1_122
Can you try with the latest one 7.1_207?
CG
I finally got around up updating the firmware to the 7.1_207 version and that seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks.
