Constant messages saying “Remote Shadow Session Ended&q

    Hello, please excuse my ignorance. Our “Wyse” guy just left for a new job so I am trying to learn this stuff as issues arise.

    So my issue is we have a bunch of Wyse devices and they keep getting this popup saying that the remote shadow session has ended, when nobody is even starting a remote shadow session. This is frustrating our users. I had though I found a fix by using “Service=VNCD disable=yes” in the INI, but figured out that disables the whole vnc service. I just wanted to disable the messaging part of the service as a quick fix until I was able to figure out what was really causing the issue. I thought the D at the end of VNC was for Display. I was wrong. haha

    So is anyone willing to help a newbie out here?

    D stands for Daemon 😉

    If you do not want any messages with VNC you could use
    VncPrompt=Yes ActiveVisible=no

    This will give a pop-up to the user asking if they allow you to shadow but will not give any ending message.
