I bought a WYSE WT3215SE for a good price hoping to turn it into a dumb web browser for the children. I’ve been looking through the forums but I’m pretty much overwhelmed with the information and cannot glean what I need.

Is there a simple way to flash the device to configure it to get a DHCP IP and run nothing but a web browser?

Links to preexisting threads would also be helpful if I wasn’t looking in the right place to begin with.

    Many thanks in advance!

The locally implemented CE browser is not worth using it for that purpose.
I would recommend trying a free small Linux distribution like DSL or similar.
But I have never personally done that.

I need it dumbed down even further than that, I’m afraid. I don’t even know how to boot the device from USB to install linux.
