Good day all, long time reader, first post and whatnot.
Used Rapport for a good while now, getting to know WDM.
Trying to change the graphics displayed while pushing images.
Replaced the WISsplash.gif in Tools/SA/Utils with my graphic named the same. No luck.
Noticed in push.i2c that path points to Tools/SA/WISsplash.gif. Placed image there as well. Still no luck. Still shows the default wyse background.I can turn graphics off and show console no issue.
Any clue as to what I may be missing?

Found that browsing about the site here. Good info, but the change must be made client side? Anyone got a way that I can change the config server side?
I can build a package and push the new HAGENT.INI changes but sheesh, on over a 1000 clients… Seems like there should be a way to do it through the i2c files as they reference the images.
26. February 2008 at 8:51 #11889This article is only referring to the lockout screen that is shown while an update process starts. It is not referring to the splash screen the is used while doing a PXE upgrade.
This should be the server site picture only.
Maybe your picture is to big or has to many colors?CG
12. September 2008 at 13:28 #13890I too am trying to change the bitmap. I have just edited the picture and put a little black line in one corner using MSpaint. It still brings up the default. Anyone find a way round this.
15. September 2008 at 18:35 #13900You are both right. The file is Tools/SA/WISsplash.gif. But it is very picky with the format. You have to save the file in the same format and color depth to make it work.

19. September 2008 at 19:54 #13929By default the imaging agent uses internal images rather than the GIFs you’ve identified in the toolssautils folder.
As CG noted you’ll need to copy your image to the Toolssa folder not the toolssautils. Utils is for standalone – manufacturing style imaging. Save your image as 8bit 800×600 image named WISSplash.GIF adn copy to the ToolsSa folder and you should get the result you are looking for.

25. September 2008 at 21:37 #13997With Enterprise edition and remote repositories, do you have to place the WISSplash.gif file in the TOOLS folder on all repositories, or just on the primary WDM server?
26. September 2008 at 7:50 #14004It has to be in all SW Repositories not only the master.
