Hi
I have WDM 4.8.5 and i’m having issues adding AD Groups under User Permissions. I have added groups before as i have a couple already configured but they no longer appear to be working. When i add a group i expand ‘Configuration Manager’ then right click on ‘User Permissions’. On the ‘Active Directory Search’ tab select my Domain and click search. When it comes back with the list of groups, i select a group that i know has members and it then comes back with an error stating ‘Could not find any users in group [GroupName]’. Not sure why this is happening now as it had previously worked OK. I have a case open with Wyse but this is on their online portal and it is taking forever. Has anyone seen this before? I wondered about simply upgrading to 4.9? Anyone seen this before?
Thanks in advance

5. July 2012 at 15:27 #22553Thanks for the response. Managed to get it sorted. It was only happening when i double clicked on the group. Works fine when i do it properly and select the group then click the ‘Add’ button! 😳
The next issue is that if i add a user to an AD Group that i have setup in WDM they are not given access. The only way to give the users access is to add them individually. Any thoughts on this one?
Thanks again

USER does not belong to a group with Device Manager Rights. Ensure user has rights to list Active Directory Groups.
(The test user is a member of Domain Admins.)
Thanks

I have tried this using nested groups but i have also tried it with the users who are a direct member of a group.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks

3. October 2012 at 19:34 #22841I just upgraded to 4.9.1 and I can’t launch the app because of this message? What to do in the meantime?
