I have a W2003 server and a V90 device. I created an image called 9V90.i2d and copied it from my C:Inetpubftprootrapport. . . folder to a safe place.
Now I have wiped the server clean and reinstalled W2003 and WDM 4.5.3 and would like to apply that backed up image to the same Wyse device, but cannot seem to get WDM to recognize the image. I used Windows Explorer to copy it back to the ftp folder, but still no luck. WDM recognizes the V90 device itself without problem.
Can someone point me in the right direction, please?
Thank you.
You are missing the needed WDM scripts that are created automatically when pulling the image from the device.
Easiest way would be to pull another image from any V90. After finishing copy your saved 9V90.i2d file in the newly created folder under ftprootrapportnewV90image.

Where exactly are these scripts? Normally I just highlight a device, right-click, select ‘Get Device Image . . .’ and wait for it to perform.
This results in a 9V90.i2d file and a small crc.txt file and previously this seemed to be enough to download and upload images.
The script part is stored in the database. Do a right click on the package in WDM and select “view package script”. This will show you the script.
