My V10L is running 6.5.0_30 and I’m trying to VNC to it from my Windows PC but getting a “connection refused” error. The network part of my wnos.ini is below:
Device=Ethernet Speed=”Auto”
SignOn=No LastUsername=yes
MaxVNCD=2
VncPassword=”*********”
VncPrompt=No Accept=yes
This wnos.ini is live and works fine on our older V10L with lower firmware versions but not on the two that I’ve updated to 6.5.0_30. Is this else required?
VncPassword="*******" Encrypt=yes
VncPrompt=No Accept= ActiveVisible=yes
MaxVNCD=3
This is what my wtos.ini file has for vnc. I recommend you use the config generator found on this site. It works great!
Funnily enough I was just looking at the latest Config Generator and the resulting wnos.ini. It’s actually quite different to the old wnos.ini that I’m running. I shall have a play around.
This worked for me…
SignOn=No
MaxVNCD=yes
VncPassword=”********”
VncPrompt=No Accept=5
Do you know if there’s a way to show the local mouse on the VNC session? It would be good to follow the users mouse strokes.
