When I’m in device manager, when I right-click on a device, all i get is “Get Device Image”. Am I retarded? Or is that just a feature that’s available with enterprise?

I just want to be able to push out a configuration like i push out any other package.

    Hoping it’s possible!

“Get Device Configuration” is not possible with XPe devices. As you know a XPe config consists of registry, ini files, cfg, files, etc…
It is nearly impossible to track all this. This said, Wyse has never supported pulling a config from a XPe device. Only CE and Linux is currently supported.

Thanks for your reply, CG. You are always the go-to man around here. 🙂

My problem is that I got a 9150 all tweaked and adjusted and made exactly how I wanted, and I just went ahead and made a device image from it. But of course, didn’t realize that it was the 1 9150 that I have that’s 512mb of space and the 15 others are 256. But I know for a fact that the tweaks and customizations i did will fit just fine on the 256, but of course the image is the full size of the hard drive, empty space included. Is there any quick way to get that tailored to a 256mb size, or am i going to have to start over and do this again on the 256 to begin with?

    Thanks SO much!

Unfortunately you will have to start all over again with a 256MB unit.
No way except using tools like Acronis etc to extract the image on partition level after shrinking the partion to 250MB using Gparted etc.
This could work but I am not sure.
