    Since upgrading to my C50LE to 11.1.031, there have been various problems related to the INI files, which worked fine in 11.1.015.

    The ChangeAdminPassword=xxxxxx parameter does not set the password to xxxxxx, nor does it leave it as admin or set it to nothing. After trying everything I could think of, I ended up commenting the line out and doing a G-Key reset so I can get back into it.

    The C50LEs no longer automatically connect to the VMWare View server. Upon logging in, it begins to create the connection, but then prompts for the Host. I checked the release notes but I don’t see any mention of a syntax change. Anyone else having a problem?

    CONNECT=VMWARE_VIEWCLIENT
    Description=”catalog”
    Host=yivo.nenpl.edu
    Port=443
    DomainName=nenpl.edu
    AutoConnect=Yes
    Username=catalog
    Password=xxxxxx
    Fullscreen=yes
    Desktop=Catalog
    DesktopSize=True
    Interactive=False
    UseSSL=yes
    Ping=yes
    LocalCopy=no

    Recreate these parts of your wlx.ini with the latest ConfGen version.
    Wyse changed the syntax so that now all password are base64 encrypted. ConfGen is doing this for you.

    Thank you for the reply and the update about base64 encryption. I missed the part in the release notes about no longer accepting plain text. I downloaded the newest ConfGen, but it produced plain text. (see below) I ran the text through another encoder and that worked. It also fixed the problem I had with it not auto-connecting to the View Server.

    Thanks for the feedback. I will take a look at it and fix it in the next release.
