I need to upgrade the storage of my units to atleast 1 gig from 512 (V90L) I have looked at the upgrades from wyse and a 1 gig is like85 dollars. I can buy a 4 gig usb flash drive for 15 dollars and it can boot and image the machine just fine. Does anyone know if it is possible to image this usb stick to be bootable for the main image, and if so any reason not to do this instead of buying the flash upgrade?

There are several freeware tools out there to make a USB stick bootable.
The USB Imager on this site includes one of them.

There is no way to put the Wyse image on a USB stick.
    I doubt this will work.
In your case I would look for a 2-4 GB stick and put Windows XP Pro on it.
There are site that describe how to put XP on a stick.
