    Hi Everyone

    We have a mixture of Wyse Terms at the moment but predominantly they are S10’s. What I have configured at the moment is that they automatically start up a full desktop session on boot up and I also configured them so if you press the power button they will power off without prompting whether they have active ICA sessions or not, using the ShutdownCounter=0 line.

    I have now been asked to have them automatically shutdown if nobody logs into them. Meaning a Wyse term is powered on, ICA session automatically starts up and you are left with a Win2K3 login prompt. This will timeout after 5 minutes or so and will then go back to the Wyse OS and automatically start the ICA connection again. What I want is when the Win2K3 login times out I would like the Wyse term to shut itself down.

    Is this possible? I am fairly new to Wyse terms so if I have left anything out please ask away.

    thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    what you need should be this:

    ;*************************************************************
    ;* General 3 *
    ;*************************************************************

    Autopower=yes
    AutoSignoff=yes Shutdown=yes
    Shutdowncounter=5

    Let us know if this works for you.

    Hi,

    This works for me, although I had to remove the Autopower=Yes line and reset it with Autopower=No otherwise it just rebooted.

    Otherwise superb, and will be a god send.

    Many thanks
    Gregg
