    Hi chaps

I’ve been sent an image from Wyse for our S90/92 range of devices to fix a problem with black blocks on the screen. I’ve rolled it out to a test unit using simple imager in our office and that was fine. However in the real world all our sites have WDM running on a server and about 20 thin clients each.

I’ve never updated an S90 using an image I have been sent by wyse so I’m not sure what to do. I can’t find a way to ‘add’ the image to the list of images in the image node in WDM let alone how to them apply that to our units via WDM. I’ve used WDM to make an image from an S90, but never the other way round.

Any got a mo to help ?

    Olly

Here is a really easy way, the “official” way is to create a rapport script to import the image but try this:

    – Pull an image from an existing S90, example call it “test”
    – Locate the file it pulls in the inetpubftprootrapporttest folder
    – Now over write the .i2d file with the one Wyse sent you – make sure the name is the same!

And that’s it, the image is now in WDM,

    Cheers,
    -TT
