I’ve been reading the forum up and down and think I’m at the end of my ropes here 😯
We bought like about 50 of the WT3125SE boxes and it came with the WTOS 1125SE without realising it.
The problem is that because we need things like powerterm and IE on it, (without going through to Citrix), I’ve been tasked to try and reimage this back to CE which is the original OS for WT3125SE.
I’ve tried all sorts of things from:
NetxFer.exe (realised that the WTOS doesn’t pick it up)
USB Imaging (It just reads the USB as a drive letter after booting up)
DHCP / FTP Server (Got it connected and can see the WNOS but unsure how to actually replace the WTOS image with CE)
WDM: Only manage to like reboot it remotely but unable to actually replace the WTOS with CE….
Has anyone successfully gone from WTOS back to CE? I know that Wyse dont really sell the conversion kit anymore. It seems its just to be a one way street to WTOS nowadays.
You are so right.
The only option would be the Wyse Conversion Kit. But this is no longer sold.
So it looks to me you are in a Oneway street.
