9450 and VNC

    Hello there,

    I am trying to help a customer to get a little more life out of their Black 9450 Terminals – by getting them back to a base image and getting VNC and RDP clients so they can move to a Virtual hosted desktop enviro. I know these units are old and not much being written for them any more. Anyone have idea on getting VNC installed, baring in mind these unit are only 192 flash/192 RAM units – customer has 80 of them.

    Any suggestions would be fantastic.

    Hi,

    I would use Tight VNC (http://www.tightVNC.org). Although there is an installer its easier to use the command line and simply make a WDM script to push it out. Only a few files are need so its very compact, here is one article on this:
