Our shop floor is comprised of V50 thin clients and pull down ini files from our FTP server to give them ICA connections.
I have a few older 3455XL models which I’d like to set up for spares. The V50’s use wlx ini files and was wondering if the 3455 models use WNOS or something else. I created a WNOS folder similar to my WLX for the V50’s but they do not pull anything and I don’t see any icons on the CE desktop. I do know that they see DHCP OK. I also have created manual connections so I know they see our ICA environment.
–Do they use wnos or is it something else?
–Are the DHCP tags for pointing to the FTP server the same for both models?
DHCP tags are the same.
Are they using INI files? No, they don’t. You can either use WDM to push a config to the clients or use a FTP server.
