Hello!
I read in the 1200LE setup guide that it will accept a .jpg, .gif or .bmp as a desktop background, but I can’t get anything but a .bmp to work. I’m running 5.2.0_89, and I’d like to have the 150K .jpg load instead of the 1.4Mb .bmp over some of my slower remote connections. Am I missing something in the format of the picture maybe? When I try to load a .jpg I only end up seeing the background color, where as a .bmp shows the picture. No other settings have changed (ie. resolution). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
~Ryan
I saw another post here with a similar problem and it led me to the solution!
Version 5.2 dropped the ability to display .jpg (stupid, they should have dropped .bmp instead).
I rolled back to 4.4.079i and everything’s fine.
Thanks!
~Ryan
