Hi there,
we use a bunch of 1125Se in our company with standard 17” monitors and we want to make our employees happy by installing some 19” and 22” TFT.
Is there any possibility to use these widescreen monitors with their native resolution (1440×900 or 1680×1050)?
The maximum resolution I can use now (FW:5.0.50) is 1280×1024.BTW Is there any newer firmware than 5.0.50 for 1125SE? Where can I find it then, theres is now link on wyse.com?!

Joghurt18. November 2008 at 18:26 #14461Hi,
the latest firmware for 1125 is 5.2.xx. There is no more development for 1200, 1200+ and 1125.
Even with latest code there is no higher resolution than 1280×1014 as the HW is not able to do more.
1680×1050 is the maximum resolution supported by S10 now but I heard several complaints about that resolution only working with some TFTs.
I would recommend using V10L in these cases.Cheers
CG19. November 2008 at 6:36 #14474Thank you Thomas,
I’ve got the same information from Wyse Support yesterday. It’s a pity.
TFT with “normal” SXGA resolution are rare on the market today. And why should we replace working 1125? Just because there are no normal screens? Therefor the terminals are too expensive.
Thnaks anyway.Greets,
Joghurt19. November 2008 at 7:32 #14475Yes, you are right but I think this is the way technology works. More features in less time intervals. Could you just image 22″ or bigger display at the time you bought your 1125? I don’t.

19. November 2008 at 10:13 #14478hmm, no I don’t. This is development and it’s good that it happens. But to tell my boss to buy about 100 new terminals just because to use another resolution is not very comfortable ;o))
Could you send me the latest firmware for the 1125SE or do I have to contact Wyse directly?

Joghurt19. November 2008 at 12:26 #14479Sorry, but you have to contact Wyse directly as the upgrade are not free of charge unless you have a maintenance contract.
