    Hi,

I have a 1125se unit and when i boot up it shows me the dial up manager screen (does not talk to Rapport).

The unit is on the network but does not pick up an IP and also the unit is locked down so cannot make configuration changes as well.

Any advice please how to fix this?

    Thanks.

The first step would be to unlock the unit. Then you can either reset to factory default or reconfigure it.
To unlock it you first have to figure out what fileserver (FTP server) the unit tries to contact. Therefore you will need a network trace.
Once you have found out the IP address the unit is trying to contact you have to rebuild a FTP server with that IP address and copy a wnos.ini file to that server. The wnos.ini has to contain “Privilege=high” and “Signon=no”.

    Thanks CG.

I thought of the same thing before but the issue is when the terminal boots it picks up an IP 127.0.0.1.

I also checked the event log and the only thing what i can see there is “Characteristic is Lock” and “Connecting to Dial up Adaptor”.

The device is on the network but not talking to any FTP server.

    Any ideas? Thanks.
