Many thanks for your reply thinkthin. Your db sizing information really helps my perspective.
If I were to establish a backend infrastructure using an HP DL380 as the WDM server (IIS) and one additional DL380 as a SQL server (70 Gb db space), this would seem to be the “normal” means of establishing a responsive backend, right? Overkill? If all goes as anticipated, we expect to grow the number of S10s we support to more than 6,000 devices with these two servers.
Both DL380’s are configured with 2 processors and 4 Gb RAM.
