Thats a good question, the .i2d format Wyse use contains the BIOS and the OS in a binary format that is copied sector by sector to the flash. On most new Wyse devices the flash is in a IDE format and you could use conventional imaging tools to get your own XPe build down. It would be the same process as putting a XPe build to a HDD on a PC. Be aware that if you replace the NT boot files it will not boot so dont mess with those files.
