Yes, I did that to ensure I could get on the network. No issues there. I solved the problem by enabling Fast Search on the port on the switch.
Wyse does make mention of enabling Fast Port on your switches to allow for dhcp. Fast Port is a Cisco term, in our case it’s called Fast Search which is the equivalent on a Nortel switch.
Anyone experiencing this same issue ensure or the equivalent based on your switch make that fast port is enabled.
