If you use a Microsoft DHCP server, and the terminal name is set using TerminalName=TERM-NAME in an .ini file, then the MS DHCP server will pick up the name of the terminal. You can then configure your MS DHCP server to auto-register host names with DNS (right-click, properties ont he DHCP server – don’t forget to assign credentials to your DHCP server that have rights to create/modify DNS records).
