Go to Control Panel-Addons and compare the XDMCP addon build number.
Maybe just installing a new addon (or older one) fixes this.
BTW, upgrading to newer/older firmware is a very easy task and takes only a few minutes to setup and a couple of minutes (appr. 10) per unit.
