    Hi,

    Some of my clients get a popup (thinOS security) telling them connecting to WDM server failed because of provided certificate.

    Its OK to continue and logon to our RDS enviroment.

    If i look at the certificate its an old certificate (expired) and my WDM server dont have this in personal certificates in “certlm” MMC. So i think its removed.

    How can my client know of this expired certificate that is removed from the server? is it cached in IIS? or is it in some configuration in WDM?

    i have version 5.5 of wyse device manager.

    if i look at IIS manager i dont see any certificate in Site Binding.

    Can someone help or point me to something?

    Best Regards
    C

    ThinOS tries to connect to the WDM server via https. Therefore, it needs a certificate.
    In a simple installation WDM is generating a self-signed certificate.
    However, all this was not in place with the very old 5.5 version.

    I would recommend to add
    SecurityPolicy=low
    or
    WDMService=Yes SecurityMode=Low
    to your wnos.ini. This should remove this message.

    Hi Jedi Master 🙂

    i know about the Security policy=low and thats what i think of but its strange it picks up my old certificate?

    if i set SecuritPolicy=low, ythios dont impact the checkin for my clients? and why dont all get this error?

    Best Regards
