ThinLinux 2.0 now available

Last week Dell officially anounced the availability of the new ThinLinux 2.0.
In contrast to ThinLinux 1.0 this new version is no longer based on SUSE Linux, but on Ubuntu. However, the look and feel is exactly the same.

Dell Technology unveils the beast

Yesterday at Dell Technology World 2018 in Las Vegas, with more than 10.000 customers and partners, Dell unveiled a beast.
This beast is named Wyse 5070 and is the newest addition to the vendor’s Thin Client portfolio.

Hi, it's me. My name is Thomas Möllerbernd alias ConfGen. As my profession is my passion, I have created this website and some tools, like my Configuration Generator, to help Dell Wyse customers easily get in touch with their Thin Clients. I am working for Dell for several years now, as I did for Wyse before. Beside writing about Dell Wyse clients, I am also deeply involved in Citrix, Microsoft, Nutanix and VMware products.
