Issues posting in the Forum?

Starting out in thin client Hi, in the last weeks I got some reports, that some of you aren't able to post in the forum getting a message like "Invalid session. Please resubmit the form." It looks like this has to do with the cookie settings in the Forum. Please try to use www.technicalhelp.de instead of www.freewysemonkeys.com. That should fix your issue. If anyone out there is willing to assist me with this website, I am more than happy. I am not a website expert and really want to use a different framework. So, please contact me, if you have time to help me here. Yours Thomas

Starting out in thin client
Executive Brief

This article is for those considering maximising there server based computing investment by deploying thin clients. It focuses on the issues to consider when selecting thin clients.

It happened to me in 2000. The organisation I was with moved from a fully managed PC environment to a managed application environment using Citrix Metaframe. Initially I pushed back on the idea, I had spent a lot of time and effort on building the ZENworks environment we had and quite frankly it worked!

Well of course as my knowledge of the product increased the benefits became obvious, to highlight the fact the business I was with went and acquired two new companies that were interstate within the one twelve month period. The whole lot was managed from one site with no additional IT staff and implemented in the same time frame it would have taken me just to workout where to put the ZEN servers.
