Difference between WDM Workgroup and Enterprise

Hello,

we are thinking to put our local WDM into our network and are considering if it has any advantage for us to use the enterprise edition.

Does anyone has some papers about this ?

What is meant with "remote repository" ? Is it just an additional FTP-Server on-site so the files are not beeing send over the whole network if the WDM is far away ?

Does anyone has experience with managing handhelds with WDM ? We are currently using Intermec 730 which are based on Windows Mobile 2003 and I would be happy if we could manage them (or their future replacement) with WDM.

Yes, remote repositories are just FTP stores to hold the image on a server or another terminal to lower WAN traffic. Also with Enterprise you can update more than 5 units at a time which is the limit of WorkGroup.

You can manage some handhelds with WDM but really it may not be the ideal tool so test,
